Tool #3

I created this wordle with content-rich vocabulary so that students can do a scavenger-hunt activity, where they would find as many vocabulary words relating to the subject at hand. Students can also create their own wordles with "hidden" content-vocabulary to see who can find the most words relating to the subject we are studying.

  1. I think this is a great and "fun" way to keep students interested and engaged. It is also a way of helping students practice their spelling strategies!

  2. If you think Wordles are cool, take a look at the latest word cloud tool at www.tagxedo.com! It offers options for making your word cloud into cool shapes and the individual words pop off the page when you scroll over them. Check it out!

  3. I am learning so much already. This PLN DOES Work! I liked your idea of making a fun activity (Wordles) for your students, and then when I read the post by Millie for more alternatives, I gained even more ideas to do with students. I'm definitely following you and Millie.:)

Also, thanks for all of your help in getting me started on this adventure/learning opportunity/activity. jk
